About
My work is built on fundamental geometric structures such as modules, lines, and grids. Most of the modular compositions are geometric abstractions that derive from nature or the technological world, although their origins are no longer recognisable in the finished work.
The constructive works arise from rule-based systems and ordering patterns with recurring elements that are precisely arranged yet remain open in their visual effect. To generate rhythm within the pictorial structure, I employ numerical sequences such as the Fibonacci or Langford series, and regular cadences.
Colour is used structurally — to create optical tension and to guide spatial perception. At the core of my practice is a visual language that emerges from reduction, repetition, and systematic variation.
